Wow...it has been a month and a half since I have posted anything on the blog. But what a month and a half its been!
In late January our upstairs bathroom began leaking into our downstairs half bath. Long story short, we had to completely gut the upstairs bathroom and remodel it - three weeks before I was due to give birth! Jack, Bella and I stayed at my mom's for a week and a half while the heavy construction was going on thus my lack of blogging. The bathroom is finally done (pictures coming soon).
Then at 2:30 a.m. on Monday February 14th, I woke up having contractions. Aaron and I went to the hospital around 7:00 a.m. My labor and delivery went very smoothly.
Then at 1:56 p.m. we welcomed Theodore "Teddy" Paul Bakhshi into the world.
He weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and was 21 inches long.
He is such a sweet baby!
Jack and Bella were so excited to come to the hospital and meet him.
Teddy is such a good baby. He eats about every three hours. His last feeding of the day is around 10:00 p.m. and he wakes up about twice a night to eat. (Needless to say, I'm tired!) All that eating is catching up to him. At his two week check up he already weighed 9 pounds 8.5 ounces!
Teddy loves to be held. Its very tempting to sit and hold him all day long. He is such a cutie!

Jack loves his little brother! When he woke up the other morning he said, "Mommy, I'm so happy about my baby Teddy." He always wants to hold him.
Bella is loving being a big sister too. She is such a little mother. She always want to "rock baby"(as she calls it), read to him, and is obsessed with giving him his Binky. She is also very jealous, but she takes her frustration out on Mommy not Teddy - thankfully. She is very happy to get her alone time with Mommy before bed.
I am having a great time hanging out with the three of them everyday. Don't get me wrong, it gets crazy at times, but it is so much fun being with them. I always wanted kids close together and I am very blessed to have what I always wanted.
On February 20th, my first baby turned 3! I can't believe he is 3 already. It feels just like yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital. We had a quite day at home on his birthday. The day started out opening gifts and ended with a Dora and Diego cake and signing "Happy Birthday." (Please ignore my horrible signing voice!)
We celebrated Jack's birthday the following weekend with our extended family at COSI.
Jack passed out on the couch after we got home from COSI!
So that's what we have been up to the past month and a half!. I hope to have daily posting on the blog from now on.
See you tomorrow!
