Sibling Love

Today one of my childhood friends, Jill, was in town visiting from Florida.  She came over and hung out with us this morning.  Jack and Bella had such a good time playing with her.  Unfortunately I forgot to take any pictures.

This afternoon, Jack and Bella were having so much fun playing with Teddy.  Here is Jack making him smile.

What's Wrong With This Picture?

I finally got some good pictures of Bella's new haircut.  She was having such a good hair day today. 

We went to the grocery store on Monday and they had corn on the cob!  Jack absolutely loves it so I got some and made it for dinner tonight.

Here are Jack and Bella enjoying their "summer food" while there is an inch of snow on the ground!  What is up with this weather?  We are so ready for spring.

Blooms and Butterflies

Today we went with Jen and company to the Franklin Park Conservatory to see their new exhibit called "Blooms and Butterflies." They have released a ton of butterflies into one of their greenhouses.  They are so beautiful.  Here is a picture of Jack pointing out some to Bella.  (Its also a good shot of Bella's new 'do!)

Catching Up

We have had a busy few days.  On Saturday Grandma and Grandpa came to visit.  We went to the Polaris Mall because the Columbus Zoo was having an event there.  They had animals there that you could pet. (Jack and Bella got to pet a ground hog and a snake!)

After our trip to the mall we went to Jack and Bella's haircut appointment.  Jack, Bella and Teddy had all fallen asleep in the car on the way there.  Jack was so sleepy while he was getting his haircut as evidenced in this picture.

 Bella was loving getting her haircut.  I decided it was time to get a new 'do for Bella.  Here hair was looking too thin and stringy. 

It is hard to tell from this picture, but Bella got a cute little bob haircut.  I love it! 

Teddy turned 6 weeks old today!  Where has the time gone?!  Here are some sweet pictures of him from the past couple of days.

Big Boys Don't Cry

Teddy was really fussy today.  Jack and Bella are always very concerned when he cries and they always want to console him.

Wagon Wheel

This past Christmas Santa brought Jack and Bella a wagon.  Aaron put it together for them this afternoon and we went on a family walk.  We walked all around the neighborhood and then to the park.  We had such a good time!  We were gone on our walk for nearly two hours!

Aaron let them each have a sip of his Coke.  They love to have this special treat.  Look at them chugging it! :) 

 I had Teddy in the wrap during our walk.  The fresh air really wore him out.  Here he is all swaddled up tonight in his crib.

No Rhyme or Reason

Here are some random things that are going on at our house...

 This is how I find Bella first thing in the morning nowadays.  She wakes up, takes off her pajamas, calls for Mommy and waits in her crib until I come in to get her.  By the look on her face in this picture, apparently I took too long to come in to get her! :)

 Jack is still loving being a big brother.  Today he told Aaron, "Daddy, I need to check on my Teddy bear."

Teddy is staying awake more and more during the day.  I am anxiously awaiting  his first smile.  He smiles in his sleep all the time and its so cute.  Can't wait to see a real, social smile.  Although in this picture he looks like he is far from smiling.  He looks like he is getting ready to punch someone! :)

Luck of the Irish

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We had such a great day today!  The weather was perfect - it was 65 degrees.  We started out by going to the St. Patrick's Day parade downtown with Jen, Wyatt, Cameron, Sam, and Gracen.

After the parade was over we went to the North Bank Pavilion Park to have a picnic.  The park is absolutely beautiful!  It is right on the river and has great views of downtown.  The kids had a great time running all around. 

After lunch we took a walk to check out the replica of the Santa Maria that is on the river.  It was closed, but we are looking forward to taking a tour of it this summer.

Teddy is having more and more wakeful periods during the day.  Here he is looking pretty cute, if I do say so myself!  

His shirt says, "Mommy's good luck charm."

New Places and Look- A-Likes

Today we had every intention of going to story time at the Worthington library, but of course we were running late and by the time we got there it there we no more parking spaces.  (Apparently story time is a popular place to be on Wednesday mornings!)  So we went to the Whetstone library instead.  Jack and Bella were so excited to go to a "new" library.  Here they are enjoying all that the library has to offer.

 I also found my hospital baby picture today.  I think Teddy looks a lot like I did when I was a baby.
