What About Bella?

The boys get all the attention because of their February birthdays, poor little Bella gets the shaft!

What has she been up to?

Well she likes to rest her head on the hand at night before bed and talk to Mommy.

She loves to watch cartoons in Mommy and Daddy's room in the morning with Jack.

She likes to play in the laundry basket with Teddy.  (There is that fake smile again).

She loves to swing at the park.

Big Guys

At the end of February, Jack and Teddy had their four year old and one year old check ups with Dr. Ricciardo.

Teddy weighed in at 25 pounds and 12 ounces.  He is in the 75th percentile for weight.  He is 30.5 inches tall which is the 75th percentile for height.

He was very sleepy after his doctor visit.

Jack weighed in at 39.2 pounds.  He is in the 90th percentile for weight.  He was so disappointed because he wanted to be 40 pounds so he could sit in a booster seat in the car.  I am happy to report he is now 40 pounds and is in a booster seat.  Big boy!

He is 41 inches tall.  He is in the 75th percentile for height.

Jack had to get one vaccination at this appointment.  While the nurse was administrating the shot, he pulled it out of his own leg!  Luckily, she had injected all of it into his thigh right before he took it out.  Needless to say, he was not a happy camper about the shot!

Top 'O the Mornin' to Ya!

St. Patrick's Day was a beautiful day so we ventured downtown for the parade to celebrate our Irish heritage (My great-great grandmother came to the U.S. from Ireland by herself when she was 13).

We put on our shades.

And watched the parade!

We got some candy and green beads too!

Fly Little Butterfly, Fly

Every March at the Franklin Park Conservatory they have a event called, "Blooms and Butterflies"  I try to make it every year because...

1.) Bella has a thing for butterflies
2.) I am starting to as well.
3.) The boys love them too.
4.)  They are so beautiful...check out these pictures!

Who Doesn't Love COSI?

All three of the kids love to go to COSI.  Here are some pictures from one of our recent trips there.

Bella and her fake smile.

There it is again.

Boy, Oh Boy...Look Who's FOUR!

My first baby, Jack, turned four on February 20th.  We had his birthday party the Saturday before at the Worthington Community Center.  I rented out a room there, invited his favorite friends, had some pizza, fruit, veggies, and cake.

I am slightly obsessed with this cake.  I LOVE the way it turned out.

My favorite part was the different color layers on the inside - so cool!

Jack's favorite part of the day was Chris the Balloon guy - the balloon artist who made all kinds of balloon creations for the kids.
 (Thus the balloon party theme.)

We had a great day and it was so neat to see Jack there with his friends.  Where does the time go?  It just seems like yesterday he was born and now he is having a birthday party with friends!  Makes me so proud yet still longing for those baby days.

On his "actual" birthday (as Jack called it) we went to the mall park to play, had pizza for dinner and had birthday cake for dessert (all his choices).  Here he is blowing out FOUR candles!

Dear Jack,

How are you four years old already?  You are such a sweet, smart and helpful boy.  I sometimes wonder how I would get through the day without your help.  You are such a wonderful boy and your sister and brother look up to you so much.  You are a joy to be around and you continuously amaze me with your insightfulness and intelligence.  I love you more than words can express.

Love,
Mommy
