I Love Clifford

Today we met our friends Jen, Cameron, Sam, Wyatt, and Gracen at COSI.  A new Clifford the Big Red Dog exhibit just opened this past weekend.  Jack and Bella love the Clifford books and TV show so I was excited to take them to the exhibit.  They had a great time.    The exhibit was a set up of Birdwell Island, the home of Clifford.  You could deliver mail around the town, cook in the pretend restaurant, fill Clifford's dog bowl with bones and so much more.  Enjoy these pictures!

This picture was taken in Kidspace area.  Bella was standing by a fan that you are supposed to put balls on so they float in the air.  She, however, thought it was more fun to have the wind blow through her hair.  Very Marilyn Monroe of her! :)

These Shoes Are Made For Walking

Every time I put Jack's shoes on he tells me, "Mommy, these shoes don't feel me good."  So we went to Stride Rite today to get some new fall shoes for Jack and Bella.  Here they are taking them off once they got home.

Turn Up Your Beltone

Let's Get Together

Today after church we went to Gigi's house to visit with her and Aunt Cathy, Aunt Anne and Vinnie and Gabbie.

An Apple a Day

We had such a great Saturday! 

This morning we went apple picking.  Jack and Bella had so much fun picking apples.

They also enjoyed eating the profits! :)

We had to hurry back after we were finished apple picking because Jack and Aaron both had haircut appointments.  While they were getting their haircut, Aaron and I decided that Bella's hair needed to be trimmed and evened out.

She had a lot of fun getting her hair cut and...

Getting Creative

Because I have two kids and one (stinky) dog, I had the carpets cleaned today.  He had to move everything off the carpets in preparation of their cleaning, so we spent most of the day in the kitchen.  Jack and Bella were getting a little stir crazy (it didn't help that we had a bad storm this afternoon).  So I broke out some party hats and party horns we had leftover from Bella's first birthday and that kept them busy for a while.  Here they are partying it up! :)

Got Away From Me

Today Jack and Bella went to Mom's Day Out and they both did great!  Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take any pictures of them today, but I do have some cute stories to share.  Jack woke up early this morning so I went in his room and laid down with him in his bed.  While we were laying there he said, "Mommy, I go downstairs and do the laundry and the dishes and clean the floor and you stay in bed."  I told him he is going to make some woman very happy some day! :)  Bella's newest thing to say is,"up".  If she wants help with anything - opening a door, turning on a toy, etc. she says it.  Its so cute!

Bunker Down

This afternoon the skies got really dark and the tornado sirens went off.  Jack, Bella, Kiefer and I went to the basement to weather out the storm.  We watched the weather on the news and played until the storms passed. I'm a Big Kid Now!

Today was an exciting day at our house.  Jack got his new big boy bed!

Check Up On It

Bella and Jack had their 15 month and 2 1/2 year check ups today.

Bella is 32.5 inches tall.  She is in the 97th percentile for height.  She weighs 26 lbs. 14 oz.  She is in the 90th percentile for weight.  She is big, strong girl!  Bella had to have two vaccinations today.  She cried at first, but after she got her sticker and Silly Bands she was fine! :)

Jack is 3 feet, 1 inch tall.  He is in the 90th percentile for height.  He weighs 35 pounds.  He is in the 75th percentile for weight.  He got to wear a paper gown today for his check up.  He wasn't crazy about it.  He had to have one vaccination - he wasn't crazy about that either! :)

Brave Mommy

I don't know what I got into me today, but I decided to take Jack and Bella to Bob Evans for breakfast all by myself.  I was very proud of them!  They were so well behaved.  Here are some pictures of them keeping busy while we were waiting for our food.

First Day of "School"

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

On Friday morning Jack and Bella went to "Mom's Day Out" at our church.  Its a two hour time where the kids get to play and socialize with each other while the moms get to have two hours to themselves!  I will be volunteering at it at least once a month so I will get to see my little social butterflies in action! :)  Truthfully, I was sad when I dropped them off.  I missed them so much and I couldn't wait to pick them up.

I tried to get a picture of them together before we left, but its like herding cats!  This is the best that I could do.

We spent the rest of the weekend visiting Grandpa and Grandma in Dayton.  I forgot my camera so unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, but we had fun watching the Buckeyes beat Miami!  Go Bucks!
