I Think We're Alone Now

We went to the pool this morning right when it opened.   It was so awesome because we were the only ones there for an hour!  Jack went down the slide over and over and Bella jumped in pool a bunch of times.  We ran into a lady I know and she showed Jack how to use a water noodle.  He loved it! Fresh Air

It was such a beautiful day today so we decided to play outside in the driveway today.

Out of This World

I fell asleep watching TV last night so I didn't get a chance to post on the blog yesterday...

Today we went to the Tuttle Mall Park to play.  As I've mentioned in earlier posts, the theme of the mall park is outer space.  Jack and Bella love driving the space ship and climbing on the planets.  It was the first time we had been there since Bella has been walking so she really enjoyed it!  Hope you enjoy these pictures!

Take Turns

Today was Vinnie's turn to come over and play.  They all had a great time.  When we were getting ready to take Vinnie home, Jack said to him, "Vinnie, I had so much fun with you today!"  How sweet!  Enjoy these pictures of them taking a rest while I made lunch.

I Owe You...

..three days worth of posts!  We spent the weekend in Dayton visiting Grandma, Grandpa,cousins Krish and Ryan. On Friday, Jack and Bella were so sweet.  They both climbed up in Jack's bed and read books while I packed their bags for Dayton.

On Saturday, we went out to dinner and afterwards Jack and Bella played  in the fountains.

We came home today.  Jack and Bella were glad to be back to their nightly rituals before bed - picking out books to read at bedtime and coloring.

Complete!

We completed the summer reading program so we went to the library to collect our prizes.  Turns out all you get is a tote bag! Fortunately, Jack and Bella thought it was a great prize. Here are some pictures of them carrying their bags around the house.

Down On the Farm

Today we met our friends, Jen, Cameron, Gracen, Sam and Wyatt, at Slate Run Farm.  Slate Run Farm is a real, running farm.  We saw horses, pigs, sheep, cows, chickens, and turkeys.  It was so much fun!

Chinese Water Torture

 Today was much better day then yesterday. We played with the neighbor kids across the street at their house.  I didn't have my camera with me, but Jack and Bella loved playing with them.  Jack has a crush on the two older girls.  After we left their house he kept telling me,

"I had so much fun with Grace and Ellie."  Bella loved going down their slide and playing in the sandbox.  They were both so dirty after playing most of the day outside.  Here are some pictures of them getting rinsed in the tub tonight.  Even though their faces don't show it, they love getting water poured on their heads - I promise! :)

Let Me Clear My Throat

Over the weekend, Jack and Bella developed bad coughs.  I decided to take them to their pediatrician's walk-in hours this morning to get them checked out.  They both have viral Bronchitis and Bella has a double ear infection.  Bella was prescribed an antibiotic and they both have to have breathing treatments.  Here is a picture of Jack getting his breathing treatment at the doctor's office today.  Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of Bella getting her treatment - she is a much more difficult patient being only 13 months old.

Pals

Jack and Bella have become the best of friends.  Don't get me wrong, they have their moments when they fight like they are brother and sister, but today they were so cute playing together at the water table.  Enjoy these pictures!

Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot

Today we went to the Zoo with Daddy.  It was so hot so we didn't stay very long. We only went to the petting zoo, rode the carousel, and saw the fish in the aquarium. (Thank goodness for an air conditioned building!)  Apparently that was not enough for Jack.  When we got home he said to me, "Mommy, we went to the Zoo today, but we didn't see any animals!"  Too funny!

Bump On a Log

It was pouring down rain and thundering this afternoon during nap time - PERFECT sleeping weather!  Jack and Bella took very good naps,  but they still seemed sleepy after they woke up. Must have been the weather.  So, it was a pretty lazy afternoon. While I was making dinner they both just vegged out on the family room floor.
