I have to admit, bedtime is my favorite time of the day! :)

The Family Band

Tonight we went to dinner at Grandma Mary Lou's house. Jack and Bella had a great time! They were both really in touch with their musical sides there.

Ice, Ice Baby

The new Polar Bear exhibit opened at the Zoo a few weeks ago, but we hadn't had a chance to see it. It had been raining so much and we were staying home to work on potty training.

Well, I was sick of being a prisoner in my own home and the weather was perfect so we headed to see the Polar Bears!

The exhibit is so neat! You can go under ground and see the Polar Bears swimming above you. You can also go above ground and see them jump in the water.

Summer, Summer, Summertime

Today was the beginning of what is supposed to be a beautiful week of weather. So Jack and Bella played in the backyard with the water table. They had so much fun...just look at these pictures!

Dancing In the Kitchen

I, personally, am a big fan of dancing and singing. I sing in the car, shower, anywhere...you name it! My love has been passed on to Jack and Bella. I have my iPod in the kitchen and we love to listen to "Mommy's Jams" as Jack calls it. Their favorite songs are, "Hang On Sloopy" and "Single Ladies" to name a few! :)

Practice Makes Perfect

Today was day two of the Potty Training Boot Camp. Jack seems to be losing interest in going on the potty, but we are still trudging along! We'll see how far we get! He only had two accidents today. Potty training is exhausting - it makes you so tired! So tired that you fall asleep during lunch!

While Jack is practice going potty, Bella has been practicing her "How big is Bella?" game. She loves it! I know I posted a picture of her doing it the other day, but only a video can relay her sweetness!

Rome Wasn't Built In a Day

Today was the first day of Jack's Potty Training Boot Camp! :)

The plan is for him to only wear underwear during the day (no diapers) and wear a diaper to bed. He's definitely not ready for no diapers when he's sleeping.

After he goes to the bathroom he washes his hands...

....and dries them.

Then he gets to put some money in his piggy bank.

Jack had 3 accidents today. Hopefully he will keep up the good work and get better everyday!

To Gigi's House We Go

Today we went to Gigi's house for a visit. Bella and Jack had a great time playing with the toys Gigi has at her house. Bella especially loved the stacking rings toy. Gigi introduced Jack to Silly Putty and he had a ball "making pictures" with it from the comics! Enjoy these pictures.

Today was the first day in a week it was nice enough to play outside! Jack and Bella played all afternoon in the driveway. They played bubbles, Jack rode this bike, Bella walked in her walker, Jack played basketball, and Bella chased the ball.

This could only lead to one thing...

Day Trip

Today we went to Dayton to spend the day with Grandma and Grandpa and our friends visiting from India. We had a lot fun visiting with everyone! By the time we got home we were so tired! We couldn't wait to go to bed. We were so sleepy we cried all through our bath. I bet we sleep well tonight!

Just What They Needed

Today was better than yesterday, but still far from perfect. Bella is definitely getting her two front teeth, but they seem to be taking their good old time breaking through. Poor girl! She is super cranky because of it. Jack was nicer to his sister today- thank goodness! :)

Aaron has been working late this week, but he came home in time for dinner tonight. Jack and Bella were both so happy to see him. Maybe they just needed a little "Daddy Time" to make them feel better.
