Happy Birthday Jack - Take 2!

Today Grandpa, Grandma, Grandma Mary Lou, Uncle Jay, Nicole, Balesh, Poonam, Shum, and Barbie came over to celebrate Jack's birthday. Jack and Bella had a great time playing with everyone. Oh What a Night!

Jack was so tired when I was putting him to bed, he could barely keep his eyes open. Here are some pictures of my tired boy!

Bella caught her second wind right before bed. (Lucky Mommy!) She was such a trip - she wouldn't stay still and didn't want me to hold her. So I put her on the couch next to me and she fed herself the first half on the bottle. She finally calmed down and I fed her the second half. Here are some of the pictures of her shenanigans! :)

Check-Up and New Stuff

Today Jack went to see Dr. Ricciardo, his pediatrician, for his 2-year-old check up. Here are some pictures of Jack waiting in the exam room to see the doctor.

Jack weighs 33.4 pounds. He is in the 95th percentile for weight.

Jack is 35 1/4 inches tall. He is in the 75th percentile for height.

Jack had to get two vaccinations today, one in each thigh. He cried when he got them, but stopped after he saw the Snoopy band aids on his thighs.

Dr. Ricciardo said that he is healthy and he is right on track. She commented on what a good little talker he is!

Bella does more and more new things everyday. Today she crawled up to the toy box, got up on her knees, and picked out a toy for herself!

Bella loves crawling after the Mickey Mouse ball.

She followed it all the way down the hall.

Drawing and Crawling

Today Jack tried out his new coloring table. He had so much fun sitting at the table and coloring.

Bella, on the other hand, would not sit still! She was all over the place crawling - as evidenced in these pictures!

Thankfully, all that crawling wore her out! She feel asleep on me tonight before I put her to bed.

Lazy Day

Today after church we went to Bob Evans with Aunt Carol, Uncle Scott, Chris, Alex (thanks for the birthday gifts!), Grandma Mary Lou, and Gigi. After Bob's we went home and hung out and played. It was a pretty lazy day. Nothing new to report today except we are still really cute - just look at these pictures! :)

Happy 2nd Birthday Jack!!

Two years ago today this sweet little baby boy came into my life...

...and changed it forever!

It just seems like yesterday I was holding him in the delivery room and he was looking at me as though he recognized my voice! He's grown up to be the cutest, sweetest, smartest boy! I enjoy watching him grow everyday, but at the same time I wonder where that sweet little baby went!

Jack's birthday will always be extra special to me because he was born on my dad's birthday. I know my dad would be glad to share his birthday with Jack.

Happy Birthday Jack -you are the best first born child any mother could ever have hoped for. Love - Mommy


To celebrate Jack's birthday we started by opening presents (the bouquet of balloons were his favorite and Bella loves to play with them too!), then I made pancakes for breakfast, and then we were off to COSI! Jack and Bella both had a blast. They loved playing at the water tables the best. Then we came home, they napped and then we had dinner and his Mickey Mouse birthday cake! What a great day for a great boy!
